LET’S GET PREPARED FOR UPCOMING JEE MAIN 2024 EXAMS
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the 2024 JEE Main exam date on their website, nta.nic.in.
Exam Dates Update
The NTA will conduct the 2024 exam in two sessions. The authorities have scheduled the first session to take place from January 24 to February 1, while they have set the second session for April 1 to 15. This structure provides candidates with ample opportunities to appear for the exam, ensuring flexibility in their preparation and planning.
Registration Update
To participate in the Joint Entrance Exam, candidates must first fill out the 2024 application form. Furthermore, the authorities activate the registration portal for JEE Main 2024 starting from November 1st. On the other hand, the registration for Session 2 will begin on February 2, 2024, and will close on March 2, 2024, providing candidates with another opportunity to register for the examination.
Eligibility Update
Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022 or 2023, or those who are currently appearing for the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2024, are eligible to appear for JEE (Main) 2024. Therefore, candidates meeting these criteria are encouraged to apply, as they are the only ones eligible to take part in the examination.
For B.E. / B. Tech. admission passing qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical vocational subjects. However, the majority of the BE/B Tech courses typically require Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA), India’s premier autonomous testing organization for conducting entrance examinations for admission in higher education institutions. It launched a mobile app called the “National Test Abhyas” – to enable candidates to take mock tests.
Candidates across the country can access high-quality tests free of cost through the App to fully prepare for the upcoming JEE (Main), NEET (UG), and other competitive exams. They can easily download the tests and take them offline, which accommodates candidates with low-bandwidth internet connections.
The app works seamlessly on Android-based and iOS smartphones and tablets. Users can easily download it from the Google Play Store or App Store. Once candidates successfully download the app, they simply need to sign up or register by providing some basic details, create a free account. Then effortlessly start accessing mock tests free of cost for their selected examination(s). The examination authorities advise candidates to report at the Examination Center well on time, i.e., 2 hours before the commencement of the examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals Appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2024
All the candidates must simultaneously fulfill each one of the following to appear for JEE (Advanced) – 2024.
Performance in JEE (Main) – 2024:
Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) – 2024.
Number of Attempts
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
