Catch the 2025 Eta Aquariid Meteor Shower Before Dawn!
The Eta Aquariid meteor shower will peak from May 4 to May 6, 2025. This spectacular event happens because tiny meteoroids hit Earth’s atmosphere. These particles come from Halley’s Comet, which passed by hundreds of years ago. You can watch the meteors shoot across the sky in the early morning hours.
The best time to see the shower is before dawn when the sky is darkest. Around 2:00 to 4:00 a.m. local daylight-saving time, look towards the east. The meteors will appear near the constellation Aquarius. They often shoot out from one point called the radiant. You might also see some from nearby constellations and random meteors, too.
