The Vikram-32 (VIKRAM3201) is a robust 32-bit microprocessor designed and developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL) in Chandigarh. Built to endure the harsh environment of rocket launches and space conditions. Hence, it can operate reliably across an extreme temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and withstand radiation, vibration, and other challenges typical in space missions.

This microprocessor builds on ISRO’s previous 16-bit processor, Vikram-1601, with significant advancements. Key features include:
