Despite these positive attitudes, significant barriers were revealed that limit effective implementation of health promotion strategies in practice. The most commonly cited obstacles included insufficient training, lack of dedicated consultation space, and limited time available to engage patients in deeper health promotion dialogue. Such systemic and resource-related challenges suggest that while pharmacists are willing, existing practice environments often lack the infrastructure and organizational support necessary to fully realize their preventive health potential.
Importantly, the study also identified demographic and contextual predictors of perceptions and attitudes.
