She completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. (2008–2012) at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, followed by her Ph.D. (2014–2019) at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, under the supervision of Dr. K. V. Sashidhara — a leading figure in medicinal chemistry. She began her independent academic career in 2018 as an Assistant Professor at Gaya College, Gaya (Magadh University), before moving to the University of Lucknow in 2022. Her career reflects a steady progression from foundational training in the classical chemical sciences to specialized expertise in medicinal chemistry, and finally to independent research leadership.Her academic journey began at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, where she completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. between 2008 and 2012, building a solid foundation in the core principles of chemistry. The decisive turn in her career came when she joined CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) in Lucknow in 2014 to pursue her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. K. V. Sashidhara. CDRI is one of India's premier drug research institutions, and the training she received there — in the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of novel small molecules — shaped her entire research identity.Her doctoral work, completed in 2019, focused on the intersection of synthetic methodology and medicinal chemistry. This is the sweet spot where chemical innovation meets therapeutic possibility: developing new ways to construct molecules that matter, and then testing those molecules for biological activity.
