Dr. Pandit Bhalchandra Vidyasagar is a distinguished academic with over 30 years of experience in teaching and learning. He holds an M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D., and has served in various prestigious roles throughout his career. Dr. Vidyasagar was the Vice-Chancellor of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University in Maharashtra starting from September 4, 2013. He also served as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad. In addition to his vice-chancellorships, Dr. Vidyasagar has held several key positions at the University of Pune, including Director of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Director of the Board of College and University Development, and Director of the Bioinformatics Centre. He has also been the Director of the School of Energy Studies and served as the Registrar of the University of Pune.
